Very poor customer service, nice people but lengthy waits and staff are hopelessly untrained and out of their depth. Twice I've been promised a call back within 48 hours, both times no call back was ever received. Receive letters (circulars regarding events) asking you to call them and when you do (if you ever get through) it's a farce, in my latest episode they suggested I write to them as nobody could actually action the event they had asked me to phone them about.
Trying to cash in my pension from when I opted put of serps. Has taken over 3 months. I was promised the money would be in my account today at the latest after weeks and weeks of sending documents back and forth from the US. Everything has to be done by mail which takes 3 weeks each time. The money is not in my account as promised and I am about to lose everything! I am sure you have made enough interest on it over the years so please pay it in my bank instead of giving me the run around.I would like to update this review to reflect the great customer service received from the complaints department at Prudential. It would seem the transfer was lost due to an error from my American bank account and it was very difficult to find. However after a couple of days Prudential managed to find it and reissued it,compensated me for my trouble and took some of the responsibility for not realizing it was lost and not returned sooner.
